Adding RAM to SQL Cluster Nodes - Procedure?

    Hi,

    My Sql Server 2k5 cluster has two nodes, both only have 2GB ram. I want to upgrade the ram of each host, and keep the cluster on-line. Is it safe to take one host offline, uprgade it's ram, then bring it back up as part of the cluster, then repeat the process for the second host?

    Does SQL Server need to be reconfigured to take advantage of this new ram? Can anyone point me in the direction of documentation for this procedure?

    correct you need to fail the nodes over to the primary cluster( or right click and use change groups) via the cluster administrator, make sure all the resources are running, none have failed. then you take down the server add the ram and you are good to go, then follow the with the same on the next.
