Accessing RS from another AD domain

    Hi All,

    We are trying to get Reporting services to work across domains. A trust has been set up and permissions have been granted. Although, the only way we could grant permissions was to create a local group, then add the accounts from the foreign domain. When users in the foreign domain try to surf to the box they receive an internal error 500. Love to hear from anyone who has this working(or is trying) across domains to share experiences.

    Based on what this posting is telling me http://www.sqlservercentral.com/forums/shwmessage.aspx?messageid=103859 , I think might be flogging a dead horse. Damn...almost there but no cigar.

    Is the only way to grant users in another AD forest access to your report server by using Forms Security??
