Is there a way of accessing a SQL Express User Instance from Query Analyzer? Thanks.

Sure, you either need to run query analyzer on the server/PC that Express is installed on or you need to use the Surface Area Configuration Manager to allow remote connections to the Express instance.

Thanks. Found the info.
Is there a way of stopping/restarting the User Instance independent of the main instance? I've read that there is a way using SSEUtil.exe, but I can't see it in the SSEUtil readme or help output.
