Is it possible to access the data in sql server from unix box using JDBC connection and using windows atuentictaion?I don't want to use sql server athuenthication.
Any help is appreciated.

I have aked the same question at a couple of sites which use non SQL Server using non Microsoft drivers, and I have always be told that trusted connection is not supported.
Hopefully the 2 sides will meet someday !

I asked this question of a person who is an Oracle DBA and a Unix system adminstrator, and he said, yes it can be done and he has done this.

I know a guy in denver that his company is using Kerberos to do that kind of authentication.
