Is it possible to access a Sybase db from SQL Server Management Studio? We would like to eliminate some of our development tools and standardize on Management Studio.

No

Thanks for the reply Michael. I appreciate the unambiguity of your response.

Sorry, not much else to say. It will not work. Management studio uses the Native SQL Client and non-ANSI standard stored procedures.
There are some 3rd party tools that do something like you are trying to do, but none of them handle any database engine particularly well. You get a watered-down POS. Lear to live with using multiple tools.

Hey Michael, I was being sincere with my response. Sorry if it came across as something else. If it can't be done, which I highly suspected it could not, there is not much else to say. I do very much appreciate your response.
