Access 2000 issue with SQL 2000

  • Hello All,

I need help from someone that has done MS Access/SQL SERVER work!

We have recently converted an Access database to SQL Server 2000. The Access front end we would like to use for a time while we develop a web based front end for the DB. I am having a problem with creating a new record. It tells me that I must use the "DBSeeChanges" method when using an "Openrecorset" command on a table that has an identity column. Well I try to put that in the line with the open recordset but it still asks for it. Does anyone have any ideas about this?

    Thanks,

    Mark Santos

  • It has been awhile check out http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dao360/html/damthopenrecordset.asp and see if it helps you.
