  • Hi, Got this error yesterday on our SQL 2012 Cluster running on Windows 2012 R2. Environment has been running stable for about 2.5 years. Suddenly yesterday afternoon had an occurrence of this error. Doing some googling this morning suggests turning off TCP Chimney. In our case this is already disabled.

Has anyone had this and it not relate to Chimney off load state?

Yes...it was an issue with the NIC drivers being out of date.
It can also be other pieces of the SNP as well (RSS, NetDMA). You need to see of the NICs support the features in SNP - most due with the correct drivers.
