Hello,
I am a complete SQL replication novice. I am using RMO to replicate data across the web. I have set up both the publisher (server on my domain) and the subscriber (webserver, not on the domain). The IIS process was set up on a separate server to the two servers detailed above and that process worked with no problems. I can web browse to the repl.dll with no problems.
I do have a problem whenever I click to start the synchronization process on the webserver. The error message below appears
A failure occurred when accessing 'snapshot.pre' due to an operating system error [3=''] during Web synchronization. Ensure that the -InternetLogin user when using basic authentication and the user running the merge when using Windows integrated authentication has been granted access to the snapshot share.
I have placed full permission to the everyone group on the snapshot share.
If anyone has any guidance on this please let me know.
Thanks
Brian.

Does anyone have any idea, with regards to the described problem?
I am struggling somewhat.

I would guess that as a minimum, the subscriber needs to be able to browse to snapshot.pre, and download it.
Can it do this ?
