25 Years Later: What SQLServerCentral Meant to Me

  • Thank you for all that you, Andy and Steve did. You didn't just build a web site and a community. You built a tool that people could use to enhance their own careers. I'm sitting where I am today because of all the work you guys did. It's appreciated.

  • Twenty-five years is a remarkable achievement, I can't believe it's gone so quickly 🙂

What you, Steve, Andy and the rest of the team built, upgraded and tweaked is an awesome resource that helped me grow into the professional I am today.

Even though I haven't been an active contributor for some years, the articles and editorials have kept their place in my reading list.

    Cheers guys, and thank you.

  • I retired from IT, primarily SQL Server work, in 2021 after 25 years.  I have to tell you that without the books written by you and members of your team, SQL Server Central, and the generous user community, it couldn't have been nearly as successful.  Whenever I started a new project with new team members one of the first things I would do is make sure everyone had a link to SQL Server Central. Thank you again, it is very much appreciated.

  • Thanks, Brian! I had no idea you had started SQLServerCentral. And thanks for PragmaticWorks. It's the first place I send new Power BI users to learn from.

  • This is a great piece, Brian and I agree. Communities change lives, and it's been amazing to see what you've done with Pragmatic Works as well, helping people in your local area.

  • Thank you for all that you, Andy and Steve did.

You didn't only build a great resource for may to use.

You guys really built a great foundation for people to grow into a community.

To SQL Server and beyond !
