The Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference (East) runs from June 3-5, 2025, this year in Wilmington, NC. I’ll be speaking on Thursday, June 5, from 11:30 AM -12:20 PM on Quantum Computing and Its Impact on INFOSEC.

The abstract for my talk:
AI is the new “big thing,” while quantum computing advances out of the public view. However, quantum computing will have an impact on information security, especially with respect to cryptography. This session will discuss what quantum computing is, why it offers significant improvement over traditional computing in specific use cases, what those cases are, and what you and your organization should be doing to prepare for it. The session will also look at proposed timelines for when particular milestones in quantum computer are predicted to be reached.
