Re-Inventing Humanity

,

Are we Human or Robots ?

AI & ML shall definitely change the world some day in future. One thing is also sure, very soon we’ll also become machines without emotions and compassion.

Transformation process has already begun. Husband and Wife in the same bedroom prefer to chat over WhatsApp. Friends are happy to see their friends on Facebook and Instagram. Person injured in accident is being captured in Video to get likes on Social Media instead of taking him to doctor.

Human values are deterioting day by day and we are producing robots in the form of Human Body. These robots are programmed to do specific tasks and to be best amongst other fellow robots.

Every Human Body is a consumer and society is a market and these machines are taught to be a salesman. A good salesman, gets more score in academics, good job, better salary in job and respected in the society.

Mental Illness is spreading like epidemic. Failure, End and No is creating Patients of Depression and Mental Illness as oppose to taking it as an opportunity to do great things.

Kill the negativity

Being positive is a free and natural remedy to your tough times. Kill your negativity before your negativity kills you.

Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, a well known Scientist, Teacher and Leader gave us very different and inspiring perceptive on few of the most annoying words.

F.A.I.L First Attempt In Learning

E.N.D Effort Never Dies

N.O Next Opportunity

Somehow, we are short of such an inspiring leaders and teachers. Be it our schools, universities or our very own work place.

Ego

We spend our whole life feeding our stomach and if stomach is full then our precious EGO.

Now, what does this ego is?

  1. My friend brought a bungalow, I should have one better than him. This 2 BHK flat is not sufficient for 4 member family.
  • I deserve more salary and better designation than my colleague.
  • I am very smart and everyone should respect me.
  • My relative went to Africa for Vacation, I should go to US in Business Class.
  • My kids should go to better school than my neighbors.
  • My son should score first rank in school.
  • My colleague brought a new car, I should also have something better than him. It’s against my status now to have such an old model car.
  • I should improve my life style and so on.

We try to feed our ego almost till the end of our life. Most of us die feeding our ego.

To define ego, it’s simply I, ME and MYSELF.

Comfort Zone

Comfort Zone is something which keeps us hostage to our so called ego (I, ME and MYSELF). We fear of comfort zone because we are slaves of our ego.

Remember the examples above. All the examples are around these 3 small but almighty words.

Reality

We did not own anything when we were born, neither are we going to own anything once we leave the world. To state the fact, when the breath leaves your body people start calling you” body” instead of addressing you by your name. The day we come to terms with this, world would be a better place to live.

If that is the case then why we spend our whole life in accumulation and to strive for little more? This accumulation and little more gives birth to ego and ego creates the comfort zone.

We are living in a world which is delivering lot of inventions, GDP is growing, per capita income is growing but still the happiness score is degrading day by day. This is because of our selfish nature and our most lovely ego.

Play your natural game

We cannot be a good student, professional, employee and human unless we throw away our ego. The moment, we’ll get rid of our ego, Comfort Zone drawn around us shall get vanished automatically.

When we are not in the Comfort Zone, we are free from FEAR. We all know that success is guaranteed if we play fearlessly and without pressure. As oppose, we are OUT if we play under pressure.

We should teach our kids as parents, students as teacher and employees as leader to love what they do instead of comparing them with others. We should motivate and support them to participate without thinking about the results. Yes, we should always have well defined Benchmark, Goal and Plan.

Responsibility of Corporates

Organizations and Corporates can play vital role to change the society.

TATA, the legendary Corporate House of India does it through their organisational values and also through their actions.

Integrity

We will be fair, honest, transparent and ethical in our conduct; everything we do must stand the test of public scrutiny.

Responsibility

We will integrate environmental and social principles in our businesses, ensuring that what comes from the people goes back to the people many times over.

Unity

We will invest in our people and partners, enable continuous learning, and build caring and collaborative relationships based on trust and mutual respect.

Organization should have healthy and ethical competition. Corporate is the place where an individual does the practical of theory he learns in the Schools, Colleges and Universities. Employee gradually becomes what he learns from his leader, colleagues and organization.

Mind your words and action

Recently I’ve seen a LinkedIn post where someone from Sales background shared his experience of how his Boss abused him for not meeting the targets. Leaders are not born but developed. Young employees can do miracles given the proper opportunities, guidance and support.

An employee can turn into a social leader

I met few youngsters who were MBA and CA from esteemed Institution and were working with one of biggest MNC. They got opportunity to participate in the Social activities as part of CSR and this changed them completely and today they are working for the children’s with hearing disability and making them empowered through education and employment.

Conclusion

A person cannot be a good student, parent, relative or employee, if he is not a good Human.

Ego gives birth to Fear and Anger and also draws the Comfort Zone around us.

Corporate World being the KARMABHUMI plays important role in the personality development of an individual. Corporate Houses should understand their responsibility towards society. They should strive to fill the gap of our education system by delivering the leaders to the society with full of human values.
