Press Release: Redgate brings expert SQL Server training to London and Seattle

,

Cambridge, UK, 2 July 2015 – Redgate, the SQL Server and .NET software company, returns to London and Seattle in October with its enormously popular training event, SQL in the City.

Now in its fifth year, SQL in the City attracts Database Administrators and developers who want to hear the world’s top SQL Server speakers sharing their knowledge, best practice, and tips.

In London on Friday 16 October, and Seattle on Monday 26 October, hundreds of delegates will have the opportunity to choose from 20 sessions covering best practices for SQL Server development, administration, and Database Lifecycle Management (DLM).

Renowned experts and Microsoft MVPs like Steve Jones, Grant Fritchey, Uwe Ricken, and Brian Randell will be talking on topics as diverse as SQL Server 2016, extending Application Lifecycle Management to the database, and making database changes using a migrations-only approach.

Drop-in sessions and lightning talks will focus on key areas like SSDT, SQL Server wait stats, and how to keep track of database schema.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to try the very latest SQL Server tools in Hands-on Labs in the company of their peers and fellow SQL Server professionals.

As SQL Server MVP Steve Jones comments: “SQL in the City has become a key event in the calendar for SQL Server professionals. In one day, they have the opportunity to learn and understand more than they would from a month of reading.”

Tickets for the event include breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and beer while networking at the end of the day.

The popularity of SQL in the City has increased year-on-year since it started in 2011 and event manager Annabel Bradford is expecting the days in London and Seattle to be even more popular this year.

“It’s not just about learning new SQL skills,” she concludes. “A large part of the success of SQL in the City is the chance for delegates to meet their peers, share experiences, and keep up to date with the very latest developments in the SQL Server world.”

Further information about the agenda, the speakers, and reserving a place in London or Seattle can be found at the SQL in the City website.
