At first sight it seems you're experiencing network issues.
Are you running the package on the same server where the database is?

Maybe there is excessive locking? Any other processes accessing the tables?

I would suggest you to have a look at these links :
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jneave/archive/2011/04/15/tcp-provider-error-semaphore-timeout-from-an-ssis-package.aspx
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/archive/2014/07/17/10543082.aspx
(Remark :according this last link , it seems that this problem was usual on Windows Server 2003 , Server 2005 and their old TCP/IP )
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/prethishkumar/archive/2012/02/04/high-performing-biztalk-server-2009-biztalk-server-2010-server-setup.aspx

Maybe , I have read your question too quickly but I don't think to have seen any information about the full version ( year + last installed SP ) of your SQL Server and about the version/edition of the OS of the machine where the SQL Server is installed. If you could provided this information , it would be useful to find the cause of your problem.

Have a nice day.
