I can't speak for SSAS 2005 regarding a selective installation of SP2... However this morning I managed to perform a selective upgrade of SSRS 2005 to SP2.

The rest of my components where installed earlier and upgraded to SP2, then I installed RS 2000 which didn't suit my needs although a customer of mine uses it. So I uninstalled RS 2000 and installed SSRS 2005 and then patched SSRS with SP2 by itself, none of the 2005 components were affected. 🙂
