• Speaking as someone who has done this quite a few times I want to congratulate you on a job well done.

    As we all know it's either going to work 1st/2nd time, or be a complete nightmare, and fortunately this one seems to have gone great for you.

    As it happens i'm upgrading our main production DB (> 3 TB) from 2000 to SQL 2005 on Friday, something that i'm only half looking forward to .  I'm always more concerned when the testing goes well and the potential pitfalls are flagged up early on, which is why i'm expecting other issues that we havent considered
