I don't think they gonna use SQL 2016. So I'm not sure, Eirik. But please let me know about your idea. I will take it up to my architect team. I would explain them if it is better to have SQL 2016 and polybase. Rest is up to them.
Will do Charmer, on the road right now so cannot look further into this until tomorrow, have couple of similar projects so I definitely will have to:-D
