Greetings!Please search about FileStream data type, so i doubt, for correct ans as you have not specify any sql server version in your ques.

FILESTREAM is not a data type, but a storage attribute of the VARBINARY(MAX) data type.
FILESTREAM as an attribute of the VARBINARY(MAX) data type was first implemented with SQL Server 2008.
The ability to store documents with non-transactional access (using FileTable) was implemented with SQL2012
