Chinese Characters on report

  • Some of the records that Business Objects pulls are garbage and chinese characters like below.
When I run the query that generates the report in SSMS, data is clean and I don't see anything out of ordinary. Below is just 1 example of garbage rows. There are multiple garbage rows like this.

Anybody know what's happening or how do I go about troubleshooting this?

What are you using to see the garbage rows?  BO, SSMS, or something else?

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
