I am from oracle background, i am learning it but it would be best if anyone help me with this...thanks

Post the Oracle query then. Then modify if that doesn't work. There is a fair amount of overlap between Oracle and SQL Server dialects of SQL. Try it and if you find something that doesn't work, look up the keyword you're trying to use. I'm sure there's a keyword translation list somewhere...

If you can write SQL code for Oracle you can write SQL code for MS SQL Server. I did Oracle development for a year and found myself writing code first in T-SQL then figuring out what needed to be changed to get it to work in Oracle.
