    I'm one of those SSIS users who take advantage of its simplicity. We exchange a lot of data files with outside organizations who prefer to use SFTP for file transfers. Trying to create all the necessary end points and dealing with whitelisting from ADF just becomes an unwanted hassle compared to the simplicity of a single on-prem server using SSIS. I would like to see some of the ADF functionality be added to SSIS, or an open source implementation of ADF to make life easier getting data to and from Azure blob and datalake storage.

    That's one of those things that's annoying about ADF, it adds a higher for setup/use, which isn't always needed. We need a Local, simple ADF or SSIS.
