I found it almost amusing this year that I went to Summit with the intent of breaking out of my shell and networking, at least a little, and nearly every Keynote had at least some commentary on the importance of networking.
Made a point when I was building my schedule before Summit to sign up for sessions that discussed networking and professional development more than SQL adminning, or programming and, well, managed to do some networking. Heck, a random encounter in the community zone led to me finding out about a SQL user group in my state (the local one went bust a couple years back) because I commented on an attendees t-shirt for a concert venue in our state.

Nice to hear it. The hallway track is real. And really helpful.

The hallway track might be helpful, but I (so far) find so many sessions that I want to go to that I'd need to clone myself 3 or 4 times for each time slot to make them all...
Recorded is nice, but you can't ask questions of the presenter or ask them to explain something in a different way to make sure you've got it.
Regardless, I'm really looking forward to going again next year!
