Hi folks,
I just came across this great website and thought to post my question here.
Being a junior SQL Server DBA, I'm not sure how can I find the latest service pack (sp) or hot fix released by the Microsoft? Is there a site where I have to register to receive this type of email notification? 🙁
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jing

Both of the following provide details for each version.
Microsoft's website:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321185
Another site (sqlsecurity) that might prove useful:

You can also check here: Microsoft SQL Server Release Services[/url]
They post on the blog when cumulative updates are being released for SQL Server 2005/2008. So you will probably here about SQL Server 2008 SP2 release date on there prior to anywhere else, or at the same time.:-D
