Performance degraded after executing DBCC Checkdb on production box

  Hi there,

  We had a Checkdb maintanance job on our production box.

  While executing DBCC CHECKDB ,performance on production box is degraded.The value of %Processor Time

  counter(CPU utilization) is reaching above 90% during this job schedule. Any solutions plz?
