  Hello all at SCC.

  Does anyone have any links or info regarding sys.dm_os_ring_buffers?

  I am getting "The client was unable to reuse a session with SPID x, which had been reset for connection pooling. The failure ID is 29"

  (SQL 2008 r2 Box)

  The only link I have been reading is from CSS SQL Escalation Services website - it tells me the possible issues going on with failure ID 29 but I was wondering if someone here has studied sys.dm_os_ring_buffers in depth and has trouble-shooted a simliar issue?

  I have no experience with sys.dm_os_ring_buffers, but I google a bit and found two links that provide more info on it http://sqlserverpedia.com/blog/sql-server-2005/201/ and http://technet.microsoft.com/nl-nl/library/cc966540(en-us).aspx. I hope it helps! 🙂
