ntermediate results while "executing query.."

    Hi everybody,

    sometimes when i run (big) queries, it gives me intermediate results while it's still executing the query.

    How does it happen and why ?

    Because, it's sometimes good to see already results before the end of the query

    This is the option you configure in SSMS -- tools--option--sqlserverobjextexplorer.

    You will see 2 value there

    Value for edit

    Value for Select.

    You can increase and decrease it.

    I don't have such options.

    I'm using SQL SERVER 2005 and i've got:

    if you have ssms 2008, you can see it there.

    Once you able to figure it out in 2008 then you will be able to see in 2005, if option available(i have no idea about ssms 2005)
