MCITP advice

  • ...and a hello as well to everyone.

I passed my 070-431 yesterday, absolutely delighted.

My question is about the upgrade MCITP exam. Im hoping to do 443 & 444 asap but just wanted opinions on the upgrade to 2008 as I am thinking of doing this as well, so.....is it worth doing?

We use 2005 at work so part of the reason of doing is to decide on (finally!) upgrading, I just wonder if the qualification has some weight to it if thats the word or if reading up is suffice.

    Thanks

I believe I'd wait for 2011 for both the upgrade and the certification. It's really not that far out.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

  • Thank you very much for the reply, very good point.

Is it likely there would be an upgrade route from 2005 to 2011, I ask because I read on one forum that the 2005 exams may be expiring in June...just after I do them!!
