Gouping Related Stored Procedures

  • Hi people!

I am beginner here, if I am posting my question at wrong place than please bear me…

My question is can I group related user stored procedures like stored procs related to security (membership, user, roles rights etc) or stored procedures related to application logging etc. One thing I can do is that I can group them on basis of their names like I can define some naming conventions in such a way that I get all security related stored procs or logging related stored procs in sorted form in the stored procs list…

But I want to know is there any better or standard mechanism exists for this?

  • You could assign them to "owners" other than DBO...

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
