HI All,
I have set up Transactional Replication. I want to set some fail over mechanism so that when ever my Replication fail in production, Support guys would recieve a notification mail.
I just heard about MOM packages. Can any on help me or provide link over that. OR any other way to do the same thing.
thanks
vaibhav.

I think that what you are referring to is Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager. You can get heaps of info on this at http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/opsmgr/default.mspx
I have not used it myself - our infrastructure guys use it and occassionally pass on details of alerts raised by MOM. So, I can't really give you too much info from personal experience.
All I can say is that MOM is a tool designed to be able to manage servers in an enterprise environment and comes with knowledge of various products. Hopefully others can provide more details

MOM is big and complicated. It works very well, but for this it is overkill.
Just go into the "Alerts" section in your SQL Server Agent node in Management Studio and configure Alerts based on the replication events. Replication is designed to use the SQL Server Agent to notify Operators when something fails.
