How to copy Maintenance plan

    Hi There,

    We r performing DRA drill for few databases, say 4.  I was able to copy all database from one server to another.

    My question is how do I transfer the maintenance plan from source to target?

    Will a backup of msdb suffice? if so what precautions should I take?

    To be honest this is not something that i've ever considered doing, although I do have to admit that I really dont like maintenance plans, even though I sometimes have to use them.

    Rather than try script up the plan wouldn't it be simpler to document what it does and include that in your DR plan? that way you don't waste too much time doing it.
