Tracking growth of the data file

  I found a script on how to track the growth of the data files for our database each day. However, is there a way to tell what time the growth happened? We're trying to track down when they are happening because we're concerned they may be causing performance issues.

  Running profiler would give you that information. There is nothing stored in the database that tracks that.
