Yep, two hits against a temp table (especially with an index) can be cheaper than two hits against a nasty CTE.

for case_sk = 000009, there is no comma between the cc_init and atty_inits.

Also, in some places you have cc_init, and in others cc_inits.

That should get your test data loaded.

So you want the total count by billcode?

Try this:
