What you mean by initial size?? U created giving that much space..

You can shrink the transaction log after taking a log backup that wil give you some space

Edit the file RSWebApplication.config under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\Reporting Services\ReportManager and add the full url to the ReportServer into the ReportServerUrl tag.AND remove the value from ReportServerVirtualDirectory. You must recycle...

If both same version then there wont be any issue..check the report server name..New installation might have installed under different name ..not sure..

Check ur reporting server configuration..

Check u have the same version of reporting server installed..

Y cant u create different environment variables for different servers pointing the different shared locations for backup in the same server where u creating the job??

The problem is that its taking more time to get data seleteced from a table..when checked found to have xclusive locks on many tables..
