I found two servers showing the red stop icon i checked the services and its showing running for one server and stopped for the other one.

you sure you have two instance already?? Normally first installation will take the computer name and dont consider that as named instance.

you can move old data to another table on same db. Create some job to achieve the same.

You can use sp_dropsubscription and then add article when required and then refresh subscritpion to reenable.

What permission does that user have currently?? Is that user the owner of that table??

What all programs you find running?? There are some process related to sql server needed for client connection and some other for applications like SSIS,SSRS,SSAS. You can stop the later...

AWE is for 32 bit system .AWE is not required and cannot be configured on 64-bit operating systems.
