you could use triggers to insert the data into T4 when it is inseted into T1 - T3
but a better idea would be to have T4 as a view then...

you will need to restore to another server and then copy the missing data in the table from that server, a single table restore is not possible...

That would involve finding a character that excel recognises and that notepad ignores completly, not sure if that is possible at all..

It would be possible to remove the delimiter from the header and leave it in the body of the data, however this will not open correctly in excel.

in that case why do you need a count as you will be grouping by distinct rows so the count will always be one (?)

you could map the results of your execute SQL task to a variable, and then use this varaible as part of an expression in the precendnce constraint for each dataflow.

It creates three tasks to handle updates, inserts and deletes into the dimension according to the type of SCD you chose.
I would recomend not using the SCD transformation, instead...

i think by losing the SCD transformation your performance will improve greatly,

I tend to avoid using the slowly changing dimension transformation for the poor performance it causes.
