Because it's not really necessary on a dedicated SQL box. I usually create one of a couple GB, no more. Just enough for a kernel...

That really depends on your usage. I would typically go with RAM at this point, especially if this is strictly dedicated database server. My first 2 things are RAM...

Of course you can do it from 1 server to another! That is the main point! 🙂 Set up your second server as a linked server. I suggest Transactional replication...

It may help to right-click on the table -> Script Table As -> Update To -> New query editor window.
At least this will generate all of the text you need.

Ok, I just did some testing. I believe that the login you are using to attach/restore the database was never given access to the original database 🙂
