Hmmm, this might be the language gap....

Hashed passwords cannot be retrieved. That is a good thing!!! What that means is that when you want to authenticate a user you have to compare the stored hash value...

Here is another way which doesn't required a sequential identity column.

with MyCTE as

select col1, col2, ROW_NUMBER() over(PARTITION by col1, col2 order by (select null)) as RowNum

From SomeTable

)

DELETE MyCTE

where RowNum >...

What is the logic here? Are you trying to have only 6 rows with a dynamic number of columns?
