Just run
exec sp_validatelogins
This will identify any AD users or groups which have been removed from AD but not from the SQL Server instance

What do you think about using mount points for SQL Server? Is there a performance difference between using a mount point or a drive letter?

Connecting through SSMS?
The listener connects you to the instance that's the Primary replica for the AO group, you'll see any databases you have access to.
