SAN LUN presented as a drive to VMware. I am doing my test on a virtual disk.
Then it's meaningless, a virtual disk does not mimic an underlying RAID volume...

the windows application log will likely hold detail too, do you intend to trim that as well?

can you please supply more information on the environment itself and the configuration of the cluster nodes (e.g. number of vCPUs, vNICs, etc).
Have you run a cluster validation report?

Drive for Binary files ..you can allocate 5 GB for it
Bear in mind this is per instance, if you're planning multiple instances per server then the binary drive size...
