    Windows 2003 Std x86 will only support 4GB RAM max, this is a limit of the 32 bit address system. Enterprise edition will allow more RAM due to the PAE...

    If you rebuild the NCIs first then the CI, you force rebuilds on the NCIs because of changes to the CI.

    It was my own fault. Because there were so many indexes I didn't read all the error messages during Defrag .As David said it was because of BLOB field...

    Can you post the complete column output from sys.dm_db_index_physical_stats using a detailed scan for the index in question

    Question is why would you cluster on virtual hardware? (other than for cheap QA & validation)
