    if every page in the source database is modified then the sparse files can be as large as the database files so you'll need to plan for the potential space...

    tempdb is probably the easiest, simply note the folder path to the database.

    Shut down the instance and blow away the volume, recreate it as required.

    Set your folder paths up and...
