You have no PK defined on that indexed view???? How do you even define that as an indexed view?

That's the estimated plan. I need the actual plan.
Ideally I need the whole plan for at least 1 full loop which includes the update. Ideally a couple loops...

I'm pretty sure that if anything in the row is updated, then the whole row gets the update. And I'm also pretty sure the server will use the PK...

I'd do this test in QA env.
Run a big insert or update (like 10-30% of the table).
Do it once with the current indexes on and once with all the indexes...

Michel's script sends data to table. So that may be eaiser to setup for you. And AFAIK there's nothing left out of her script.

Then you either need to set the db to simple (not bulk nor full) or start taking log backups....

It works but you have to wade through a lot of data to get very little data.
With the trigger you're able to just log the bare minimum.
