Why move the whole thing?
Just move the user databases to the new drive.
Dettach all dbs.
COPY to the new drive.
Attach at new location.
Run check db to ensure you have the dbs...

I'd check the server collation setting. I'm pretty sure they are not the same. Or the collation of the database has been changed in the move.

Long story short, don't do it.
If you absolutely have to. Run a service or a job that polls a queue table for "records to process" and then process them....

Sorry to hit the same nail over and over again. But a SINGLE sp is not the correct tool for this.
