Theory proven.
6.1 GB clustered index 99% fragmented.
4 GB log file, autogrow = off
ALTER INDEX REORG
DB IN FULL RECOVERY (might test bulk-logged later but not today)
Doing CHECKPOINT just to make sure...

I personally preffer to create a new log file everytime.
3 diffs can be ok but it's actually a big overkill.
Over here we have "little" write operations to the db. ...
