If you can't avoid the scan on the CI, you're dead at 90 minutes for each run.

You need to find a way to whack the rtrim here if you want any shot at an index seek.

You need to use my code to make a function.

Then call the function once for each programid

Select programid, function(programid) FRom dbo.table

Make sure you get only 1 row per id otherwise...

cint converts to int.

cdbl converts to double.
