    or 700 plans executed once?

    Neither and both are a problem.

    SS manages the ram used for the plan cache and wipes out old & unused...

    P.S. I've confirmed your findings in my sql 2005 SP3-ish environement.

    Shows FF = 0 in the GUI but scripts out to the correct 85 FF.

    The only time I had a similar issue was an id10t issue in the script (db context wrong).

    Since copying the files doesn't edit them, that just can't happen.

    Fill factor is also 1 of the next logical steps.

    100% FF will definitely shoot you in the foot fast with that type of usage.

    Here in a fairly well designed app...

    Create an account for the web reports and use that instead. Much less dangerous security wise.

    You need to preset the authentication (credentials) in the code.

    Google those terms and see if you can't find the same code I found 2 years ago and which I don't...
