Can we track database growth rates over a period of time and then extend datafiles (before autogrowth happens) based on the growth rates ?

...so a delay in the auto grow process response results in an error.
can Instant_File_Initialization if enabled lessen the number of times these alerts can happen.
Will IFI = enabled help expand...

How can we check if SAN is too old and the response time from IO is timed out when SQL Server need to auto grow its size ?

Is there any connection between instant file initialization set to (Y) and sqlserver autogrowth ?

Yes, that is exactly what is happening. HOw can we make the auto growth happen before the timeout.
Can we increase the timeout ? If yes how and where ?Thanks

There are no snapshots occuring at the time the errors were reported..
Should we still try disabling bloom and see if it fixes the issue ? Thanks

When we run the DBCC Checkdb against the system databases it runs clean. Is a reboot to recreate the tempdb still recommended ?

They show up in the error log.
There is not a lot in the internet on this.
Does this have anything to do with In memory tables?
