Ninja I just discovered that flag_? is indexed but not Date...also the sulotion you suggested would work but again without a (flag_?, date) index I'm not sure how much gain...

Delete the job and recreate it and it should work.
To troubleshoot the issue I will check the user privelage under which the job runs just to be sure the user...
