Depending on how much of the data has changed since 3/2 the differential could be just a large as a full backup.

From what I understand when people want to perform bulk operations on a database using the Full Recovery model and minimize the impact on the t-log, they switch to bulk_logged...

My concern with implementing mirroring is based on the 130 current databases and that this could easily grow. There may be latency issues trying to establish that many connections...

Since mirroring is done at the database level and clustering at the server level and you have a large number of databases; I'd go with clustering.
