I'd say avoid all large, generic ERP programs. I think they all suck. I worked for JD Edwards and Peoplesoft, both of which were POS products...

And most of the tables are empty as we are only using 6 of the modules available in PeopleSoft. Still, slowed down...

How much are you willing to pay per hour for a good analysis of the trace file?

We are volunteers here, and many of us have our own jobs to do...

If tempdb has grown this large it is because it needed the additional space to complete the work requested. What type of processing is being done on the server?
