Storing the formula as a string is asking for trouble and it setting you up for an impossible challenge.

I think this is the non-empty behaviour of SSAS.
By default it should not show empty cells.

The easiest solution would be if you had a calendar table.
If not, you can use the following query:

I have an old version of Redgate SQLPrompt running and I also installed Mladens SSMS Tool pack.
The only thing I change myself in SSMS is to make sure CTRL+R works...

In theory SSRS can work with mobile, but you have to take that with a bit of salt.
If you look for interactive reporting, Power View might be a better option.
